This lovely little cream hutch has yellow glazed back walls in the display areas to highlight the hand painted “china” plates and platter. The yellow and green accents bring the promise of spring. The upper and lower doors are functional. On the top of the hutch is a glass vase of early spring daffodils (also hand made) and a ribbon trimmed basket of rocks collected on vacations. The lower cabinets are empty. All items are permanently attached.
All of the "china" plates and platters started life as various carton and jug seals. I hand painted the floral designs. The daffodils were made from painted coffee filters. The vase is a repurposed bead. The rock "collection" is made of aquarium gravel.
The hutch is approximately 6 inches tall and 4 inches wide. It is signed and dated on the bottom.
This hutch is intended for adult collectors. It is not suitable for children under 12 years old.
